Anytime in July but not the weekend of July 21

Either weekend works for me, although the last weekend in June may be better than the second. July can also work, although there are some hot days in July:)

Why don’t we shoot for June 27-30.

I am interested in this and should have my car well before then. Either weekend works for me -- would really be a great trip.

I know another M3W owner locally and Inge knows 2 other owners from his area so we might have up to 10 M3W so far involved in our excursion up to the S&S factory. That would be a fun gathering. Let’s plan on the June 27-30 time period.

I’ll start figuring hotels in Lake Geneva and LaCrosse and post them online. We should each make reservations early. Then plan something at S&S for Friday June 28th.

Everyone who is really serious about going please private message me. I need to get an idea of how many hotel rooms we might need in Lake Geneva the night of Thurs. June 27th and how many rooms we’ll need in LaCrosse Fri. night June 28th. The Minnesota group will meet us at S&S Fri. the 28th but will probably stay over night in LaCrosse and travel down the Mississippi Sat. 29 on our return. Do we want to stay Sat. night the 29th in Lake Geneva again and disband Sun. June 30th. I also need to have an estimate of how many people will be present in Lake Geneva and LaCrosse in case we want to make group restaurant reservations. We’ll figure this out as we go along.

Today arranged a tour of the S&S factory for Friday June 28th 3:00 p.m. I was told our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the M3W. They also arranged for Jeff Bailey who was the principle designer of the X Wedge engine to meet with us. He is now Director of Engineering/Product Development at S&S. They are looking forward to hosting us.

So here’s the plan so far:

1. Meet/check in at the Grand Geneva Resort Lake Geneva, WI Thursday June 27th.

2. Group M3W tour Lake Geneva area followed by group dinner together Thursday evening.

3. Leave early morning Friday June 28th as M3W caravan following more scenic back roads including possible lunch stop and refueling along the way to S&S factory in Viola, WI. 173 miles.

4. Tour S&S factory and meet Jeff Bailey Friday June 28th 3:00 p.m. Already arranged.

5. After, ride 35 miles to Radisson Hotel located on the Mississippi River downtown LaCrosse for check in.

6. Possible classic Wisconsin fish fry Friday night as group.

7. Saturday June 29th leave LaCrosse, WI and travel south along the Mississippi River as M3W caravan about 60 something miles to the Prairie du Chien, WI area and disband our own way. Very scenic.

Will finalize hotel details soon and provide phone numbers so we each can make reservations soon. I would like to arrange reserved parking in front of the hotels and get a group discount.

This is going to happen! Should be a lot of fun. What do you think? Already have quite a few interested.
