Although a clock would have been the least important dash instrument to me, the Roadster now comes with a Smith's one as standard, located immediately in front of me. Ironically this is the only instrument that can be seen without a sideways glance and given the convenience do find it surprisingly useful.

Not on an 80th but this is a 4/4. You'll have to use a bit of imagination - that the dash has a matte finish, the dials are magnolia and the bezels are brass. Other than that - it's identical wink

Yes its a direct order from Smiths, I don't have a part number but my contact there was Gavin Roberts. The cost was £117 plus VAT and carriage which brought the total to circa £150

Great photo! Many thanks!

I think I will also get one!

Is there 'pre-wiring' for the clock? Or do you have to rune a feed from somewhere?

Cheers.

My 2011 was pre-wired with a very generous length including lamp holder. Do make sure of positioning. I have seen so many “professional installations” where the view is half covered by the steering wheel!

I was looking to have it positioned as per factory standard fitment. Regarding obstruction of view I would imagine the diameter of the steering wheel is significant factor, I have the Brooklands one. I've not looked into getting it fitted yet.

Should be. Look for three connectors with the following cable colours, brown/blue: clock power feed, white/green:illumination, black:common earth
