We are in Amboise travelling post Monthlery.
Met up with a couple of fellow morganeers there. Just heard from them,that both their cars were vandalised in the car park there.
Paint work keyed. Rear windows slashed.
Truly awful.

Wow, that is the first case of such wanton vandalism on a Morgan I've ever heard of. I wish the poor owners a good settlement to the damage, a truly dreadful experience.

I’m astonished.
In 5 years of Morgan ownership in France I encountered nothing but friendly response. I left my car open and unlocked all over the place.
I’ve heard of this sort of thing with « flashy » cars: my old business associate had his Mercedes 350 sl vandalised 7 times in 3 years, in the 7th arrondissement (one of the nicest parts of town). He got rid of it because it took all the pleasure out of ownership. He the bought an Aston V8 (récent variety) as he never learns from his mistakes. He was insulted and spat in while driving it.
Les gilets jaunes have unleashed a whole load of crazy Dermot here. I suspect this is not unrelated.

We’re leaving Loire-Atlantique today for two days near Roscoff, prior to our ferry on Sunday.
Fortunately only friendly waves, smiles and photos for us.
Really dreadful thing to happen.

Very sad. I never heard of this before except in Italy where one driver pretended a Mog owner had hit his car & sctached the Mogs wing with mud in his hand.

I am taking mine to France next month and would be mortified if it was damaged....
What a dreadful thing to do.
