I've travelled in France in the Morgan for donkeys' years and the car's never attracted anything other than smiles, even from the cops. This is very unlucky and untypical I think.

The morganeers are two well known and very prominent MSCC members.

The vehicles were parked in an open air busy carpark next to the chateaux. They were parked there from midday till about 5pm. No other cars were vandalised.

Agree with those regular Mog travellers to France, many trips to France over 16 years, never any hint of trouble, only appreciative and interested comments and enthusiastic waves, Gilet Jaunes and Brexit combination?

I' ve bad experience too.

At the first days at home the right frontwing of the MOG was scretched. There where two times it could happen. The first night after the long journey from BHM to home, leaving the car at the open privat carpark belonging to my home or two days later. The sam place, the car was out in the morning and than three hours later.

At first I didn't notice the damage in cause the car was dirty from the 2500KM travelling Britain, but a neighbour asks me "what's about your car.".

No yellow stupid peoples around...

Truly awful.

As you say. But also reassuring in the sense that other countries have jealous idiots . It isnt just envy blighted UK.

Somewhere on you tube there is a picture of an idiot stood on the bonnet of a parked Lambo. I would have loved to beat the pulp out of him with a baseball bat if I had been the owner.

Is a Morgan the epitome of being a Brit? Are the Brits disliked in some quarters of France? [/quote]

The Parisians can be a bit obnoxious, from experience.

Unfortunately, I've both seen and experienced problems abroad - but I'm convinced it's not the locals. Will not put me off travelling on the Continent but hopefully makes me a little wiser on how/where I leave my Mog.
