And Steve, we are both driving the same cars as we were in 2006!

Ah; 2006 - Friday’s trip to the winery for lunch and then on to a bar-b-que at a nearby chateau.

Where, if my memory serves me correctly; a large dog belonging to the owner of the chateau, decided to relieve itself on the back of a well known Morgan owner!

No you're not. I was camping at the TT ( where its known to rain) well into my 70s. Dont be so nesh! laugh

Nice post - thatnks for that. The enjoyment depends on the copmpany more than anything else. Went to le Mans classic last year. The racing was TBH a bit boring. My span of attention is maybe 30 mins max. But the company of the 35 members of our car club was great.

sleeping in the cow sheds (officaially known as the Expo site) at Le Mans is only for the young and the Dutch/Danes.

Our last year in the “cowsheds” was 2010.
During a quieter time tlLB(Susie) and I went to the showers, because there was no queue at that moment.
As tlLB suffers from claustrophobia, we went in together, so she had no fear of being trapped in the cubicle. However when we emerged, there was a queue of around 20 assorted Danes and Dutchmen!
We were greeted with considerable cheering and subsequent grins and thumbs-ups for the rest of the weekend.
Good memories.

You’re right Howard, but this old body prefers a nice comfy mattress these days. Couldn’t agree more about the company you’re with though, meeting some fantastic people down the years.
