I thought that it was a dual mass but couldn’t say for sure.
I have some evidence that suggests they are SMF. I got someone to check the specification and he responded to say it is SMF. I checked the current engines from Ford Component sales, such as the GDI and 2.5 Duratec, they are all listed as having Single Mass flywheels, whereas the native in-car installations of those engines are Dual Mass. Next step to confirm is to find someone who has parted an engine and gearbox
