I’m a big fan of bonnet straps on Mogs
I know some don’t like that they can potentially cause scratches but if you regularly brush the underside wool (or felt on some) and keep the bonnet clean, in minimises the risk

ours (2004) was getting long in the tooth but fortunately we have a neighbour who does leather work and redid ours (including getting the leather morgan logo on the new one
