Hello all,
since May 2019 I am the proud new owner of a 2009 Morgan 4/4 Sport in Sport Green with biscuit interior.
She has about 60k on the clock and is in overall very good condition.
My past history with cars is as follows (all sold now)
1994 MX5
2003 MX5
2001 Elise S1
1967 Elan S3
1989 Alfa Spider
1965 MGB Roadster
1993 Mini Cooper Spi
1984 Porsche 911
I love British cars and always wanted a Morgan!

Salve. I hope you enjoy your Morgan as much as we all do.
I drove down to Sorrento last year & have fond memories of the terror of Rome's traffic.

Look forward to seeing pictures. I really wouldn't dare drive my Florence (my Morgan's name -honest) through Rome, a taxi was terrifying enough....

Vassilis, having had the misfortune to require the services of Morgan Firenze whilst in Italy last year, I sincerely hope you don’t have to rely upon them to service your car.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Yes the traffic in Rome is indeed crazy. I am actually originally form Athens and only moved here 4 years ago. So you might say I was used to bad driving but I must say that Rome is something else....
Oh well, I haven't taken her to the center yet as I live in the norther suburbs. I will but probably on a quiet Sunday morning.
Regarding servicing I will be taking her to Milan this September to have a thorough checkup by Borghi. There is a good British car specialist here but I would rather that Borghi takes a long look at her since all services where done by him in the past by the previous owners. I have already received a replacement windscreen form Melvyn Rutter as mine was cracked. So I would rather it be fitted by someone who really knows these cars.
