For what it is worth, my experience of the pockets is that they are too small and tight to hold anything except perhaps a cloth stuffed in the top. I have the Heritage catches and while they are better than the standard Dzus fasteners the springs can weaken over time - my bonnet now moves forward c.7-8mm.

If I recall, you have had TM advice on importing and registering an EU3 v EU4 in France. I would counsel against an EU4 with the EU3 'Appearance Pack' as your M3W would breach EU4 compliance - as Chris99 points out, resale (and French licensing/testing?) would be difficult.

Stage 1 for EU3 is apparently available, but not listed for some reason. You might need to check with a dealer...
Maybe consider a windshield (Fairbourne or Morgan).
I'd certainly consider the heritage dashboard just to get the glovebox.
For the wheels maybe the spinners rather than the nuts for mounting.
And ask them to do LED headlights

for those of us on the other side of the pond.... what is the difference between EU3 and EU4?

I forgot who mentioned in another post that the days of the 3 Wheeler are counted - the relentless Health & Safety campaign sweeping our modern world, coupled with environmental concerns and a general sense of standardizing everything in the automotive world are signs we shouldn't ignore. I cannot buy a stock EU4 - it just looks plain ugly (another threat to its existence). I don't think I should wait much longer to get mine - the perfect situation never happens and while many would argue my money could go to smarter investments - we only live once and we don't live only to prosper but to enjoy whatever time we have on this planet. I have a roof over my head, no debt and some spare change to buy the little monster and then some. Why not do it ...


The EU4's appeal is only for me to bring it back to Europe but since this isn't the most likely part of the world I'll move to next that shouldn't worry me. So hopefully when I do retire in Europe the EU will have over-regulated itself to death and I will be able to bring back my Mog.

At this point an EU3 is the most likely candidate unless told otherwise by the good people in MMC. The mudguard argument stands tall but once again rain is rather a rare sight in these parts ...

I can't say the new dash is something I crave - all the cars I tried buying over here had it and while its all nice and dandy I did miss the starter button from the fighter jet. The insurance and registration in this country is paperless so I'm not sure what use it would be to me.

I believe they are J.W. Speaker LED’s.

The nut requires a wrench to smack with the hammer where a spinner can be removed with just a hammer, unless you are trying to protect it from marring.

As to health and safety sentiments, I feel we as a civilization are taking the Darwin Principle out of our consciousness and common sense is quickly becoming a distant memory. Sad thing to become a robot for big brother.

I just love that color combo ... Still on the fence about keeping the front wheel covers in black or matching them to the body like here. Rims should be in polished finished too. I haven't seen any m3w with the wheel covers in body color. Did anyone do it ?

Buy the wheels later from MWS - save yourself some monies and have a spare set of black wheels. MWS can also mount Blockleys on them before they ship.

Body colour front mudguards are a £345 option on the current MMC pricelist.
