Collected the overrider brace bar from Cain yesterday. Fitted today without issue once threads in the tapped ends cleaned out. It utilises one of the two M6 bolts each side that fix the specially fabricated overrider mount tubes. Maybe a little overkill being made from 20mm solid stainless but overriders are absolutely solid now unlike OE. Neat solution. Especially like the stiffener rod between the overrider brackets.

Neat solution. Especially like the stiffener rod between the overrider brackets. Thanks Chris, although it was Cain's (WP) solution. Tubing with filled in ends for the threads would make it lighter. The M6 mount bolts were deliberately sized to sheer on overrider impact to limit damage to cross rails and chassis.

Hi everybody
I started this thread some time ago and just wanted to thank everybody for your help and inform you that I finally got the valance on my car. Looks great!
I would love to show you a pic but maybe I am just stupid, I do not get a pic on this forum and I must say, I never saw a more complicated way to do this. So if I find out some day I will show you.
