Just a quickie for now, but I've just bought a new low rider aluminium jack. Having lusted after a Beta Tools jack for over a year and not being able to swallow the price (£300+), I found these on 'the bay'. It arrived in 2 days and is amazing. Low enough to go under the Morgan with my front axle adaptor, and wide enough to be stable. Good enough to swing the arse round of 'Mog2' to get it in garage 2. Pictures to follow tomorrow. I'm well pleased. happy3

As promised, some pictures.................

This gives an impression of the size - it's HUGE!
The handle goes out of shot.

The box lid............

The handle has a neoprene buffer to prevent damage........

Plenty of clearance as you can see.

When in position it's a good job it has that buffer.

With my wooden adaptor in place.

Jacked up.

This final shot shows the scale of the handle. This is the upper half. The ruler is lined up with the far end.

thumbs

I've had the same Jack for the last 5 years and it's worked a treat even manage to get it under the aero.

Excellent tool that I'm sure you'll get plenty of use from.thumbs

And £85 inc VAT at all Costco stores. I bought one a couple of months ago and it's been good so far.

Halfraud's best has worked so far for me, but I have just invested some of the family fortune in a tilt lift, which should be delivered in the next few days so I will be able to do whatever without scrabbling about on the floor at all!!

I'll report on my findings!!
