They didn’t on mine😂 - but yup it works , they have still not quite applied it correctly though. It should as one continuous bead of paste if applied correctly, that cracks if there is looseness.
Morgan have in that pic have simply drawn on both bits, every half turn loose and it will still look tight. - Slack

I think MMC just mark to show its been tightened on build, they have no interest or way of checking it stays that way in use. Ive used Tippex and it works well.

A point of "ups"... In february I visit BHMs workshop "MORGAN care".

One of the point: have a look if something isn't tightnen. Go around the MOG and proove it.

Yesterday she was bad running when cold and a longer travel is in sight. Tomorrow I'll have a look at the battery.

And: the mirrors- I wonder that I never see the things I wanted. After a DIY to round ones I fit a spacer. So it makes sence to
have a look about the screws. The classic construction works, rattles and shakes, so it shakes nuts and bolts away.

Regards René

"U" Bolts!!!!!!! Easy to over tighten and easy to come loose. I do not think the "UBolts" on a Morgan are even Grade 5. I would appreciate some discussion on "Talk Morgan" hopefully with somebody that knows what they are talking about. I do not!!!!
