Thanks for the replies everyone. The tour I am booked onto is the 18th September at 10am.

I doubt it will be the only tour I will do at the factory,

I can’t wait to see the build process in person, I have some images of my car in build and that is interesting enough, let alone seeing it happening in person, it must be even better to see your own car in build!

I take it you get to see almost everything as part of the tour?

I'm covering the last Prescott Drivers' School that day.

You do see most stages of the vehicles' build process. Obviously we can't take you through paint shops smile

Well done RBW.
I think it was great being able to actually meet the people who are responsible for the fantastic cars that we drive. Our safety is in their hands and I found it to be a real privilege to thank the people involved. I was lucky enough to see my Florence post paint shop whilst they were working on her so it was pretty emotional for me!
It is a great tour and the people that take you around (such as Graham or Wirewheel) are so knowledgeable and helpful. You will really enjoy it and, having been on at least 4 tours, I can heartily recommend repeat visits!!!

Just done the tour today ( stopped off on my way north to do the north coast of Scotland). Great tour! Excellent tour guide (Martin, I think is his name - archivist to MMC). Lots of Plus 6 in build - they said they have 200 + orders for the 6 and, probably, a delivery date of mid next year for orders placed today!
Yes, RBW, you see almost every part of the build (not actually inside the paint shop for obvious clean room reasons) - truly impressive to see the craftsmen and women creating such masterpieces! The museum is not to be missed!
Had chance spend half an hour to get up close and personal with a plus 6 - very nice piece of kit! Now could I justify it to swmbo....? Our guide has 3 Morgan's - so clearly I have a target to aspire to!

If you want to burn some calories after the chocolate chip cookies and sausage rolls I can highly recommend a walk up and along the Malvern hills.
Stunning views over the beautiful countryside.

Evening all,

I am now prepared for the jouney tomorrow, although my tour has been moved to 11am on Wednesday due to illness of the 10am guide,

Any recommendations on where to eat tomorrow evening? I am planning to use the Nags Head, but open to suggestions?
