Roger you are correct, but I seriously miss being at home in my garage. Later this year it will be again "Happy days" . I can see it now, stinking of grease, treading oil across the front room carpet, oily hand marks on the door handles and light switches, and listening to my gorgeous wife screaming at me   Glad the wife does not have a log in for this site ha ha Don't worry Vince. You're secrets are safe here amongst 4,609 other TMers!

Unfortunately that is not the car I used to own, as it does not have the wing lights. But the car in the car park has the same interior but it looks to have a bonnet with a full line of top vents, where mine stopped where the bonnet strap goes but also I don't think it has the wing lights.
One day I will find it, and hopefully Peter J can get his picture of them both and share it.

Lovely colour, I remember a few years ago seeing a Trad in the PDI bay having a final fettle, it had a brown mohair hood & I think a cream interior looked fab
when I asked what the paint colour was the PDI lads said it was VW
