Since it already draws as much attention as a parade float I might as well light it up.

The Daytime Running Lamps are for just that, daytime. There is so much other light that is shiny and white that just turning on your headlights doesn’t get attention quickly, the big amber ones do. Having some idiot plow into me claiming he didn’t see me probably won’t happen. It just increases my odds of survival, hopefully. For long distant trips in forested areas I can pull the amber covers off of them and they are aimed at the edges of the road and not the center. Better for picking out deer, bears, dogs and drunk citizens.

The fogs only happen with the headlamps.

Nestor, those look nice, was the wiring already in the can for the ring lighting?

Mine nay had just headlamp wiring and no running lamp wires.

there was the cable for the circular light, the 2 female terminals that we see on the 3-pin harness (the red wire is the green wire), you see them in the photo?
I just replaced the lugs in the lighthouse who were also females
