all those lamps look fantastic1 I have white/yellow Kuyakin on the fronts ! the only problem i can see is loss of rear reflector's.. which over here is a M.O.T failure and illegal.. mine still reflect when rear light are off!

Thank you Skullmog.
I currently have the reflector removed and some led lamps that I was planning on machining into the reflector lenses. There will be a reflector ring around the led once I am done. If it is a failure then I will try a new pod below the amber turn indicator.
I still think an aerodynamic blister with both lamps in it would look great and be strong and easy to clean around.

I have that reverse lamp installed and next is figure out the wiring. I am going back under it tomorrow with a ohm meter to verify that the disconnected switch (OEM) is indeed the reversing lamp actuator. If it is then I will have to remove the transmission tunnel to get to the wiring.
Meanwhile I am working on the Reflector to Stop Lamp conversion.
BTW, nice Blog Kirk!

There are four pins on that connector the two pins that are connected by default run to the fog lamp switch on the dashboard if you move those to the other then it will work automatically when you put the car into reverse. Please confirm this with your meter

My connector on the rear that connects the stop and tail lamps has 6 pins and 6 conductors going in and out. I did notice while I was back there that a tail lamp was operating intermittently. I checked and found a loose conductor that was touching the connector intermittently. Figures...
I am going to replace it with 6 individual bullet connectors. That will make diagnosis much easier.

Off to the passenger side turn signal area was a 4 pin that indeed has an unused pair of conductors that are hot!!! My bad for not finding it sooner but it is working the reverse lamp perfectly. A thousand thank you's , and may good luck and good health follow you forever :-)

Well done Lightspeed. How did you fit it to the body? I have a brake light i want fit, but i am a little worried about cutting holes in the bodywork.

Thank you John, and yes it makes me nervous when I cut into expensive things.
I could feel the wooden frame behind the gas cap fill neck and I did not want to drill into that and it hard to be far enough forward to not interfere with the gas cap.
Masking painters tape, measure and mark, tap a starting point into the surface, drill small pilot hole, drill larger hole to fit the 3/8” lamp stalk, file edges to allow a tight slip fit, deburr, paint the raw edges and let dry (hair dryer helps), I used a rubber grommet and cut it in half for the gasket, slide lamp in and put a stainless steel fender washer on the underside and mounting nut with lock washer tighten from below and hook wiring to MMC unused receptacle wiring.
When something looks like it belongs in that location and is a useful safety item then I am inclined to do it. The last lighting project will be fender lamps tied to the turn signal circuit. That will involve drilling into the fenders (mudguards).
