Meh - start of season for me - 65MOG just finished its fuel tank refit, prematurely cracked cambelt replacement, and rebatteried for my late season! Next weekend is Bicester Scramble on Sun fyi...

I have been watching the weather y/day was sunny . Today is Beamish sometimes almost a 1000 cars today its chucking it down , no fun standing in the rain . So we off to the plane collection in a tin top, at least its in doors .

After due consideration at the DGR today the SE convoy plan is: Start from Cresswells garage in Finchampstead aiming to depart by 10:45 - 11:00. Via Henley on Thames to Crazy Bear at Stadhampton for lunch, eta about 12 ish. Depart about 13:30 around Oxford to pickup the A44 towards Woodstock, Chipping Norton, Morton in the Marsh to Alcester. I may be around, but more likely I’ll be heading in the opposite direction towards Bognor. Depends when my compatriots in Butlins 1980s weekend want to set off ........ 🥳
