It’s absolutely fine to run without the outer flange on the rear sprocket.

The best I can manage is to have the belt just about on the sprocket while going forwards. However, in reverse it starts to work it’s way off the edge.

If you lose the flange on the bevel box sprocket the belt will try and eat it’s way though the rear shock absorber, just like mine did last year. That was due to the bevel box rear mounting plate welds cracking and pulling away from the frame tube (Non NVH mounting).

The way the sprocket is mounted, if the belt runs to the inside, the inner flange will not stop the belt from rubbing on the tire.
With the black pulley, will a spacer work to move it out?

Identical experience here... same visual when rolling forward or reverse. Spoke to my dealer and he said it’s normal and no cause for concern. If it means not spending money on more upgrades - I’ll take it!

Mine has always run about an 1/8" of an inch off the outside of the pulley with no detriment.

Is it up against the outside pulley on the bevel box as well?
