I will add the plug/socket disconnect the horizontal run where the weight of the connector can be supported and tied to the frame work and not flopping about.

Nicely done! I have a pair of repro Lucas "Red Dot" King of the Road Fender Lights, original for Morgan, Rolls, MG T-series, which I've updated to LEDs. They work as running lights as well as turn indicators. I plan to install them similar to what you did. They are not as visible from the sides as your lights - a good idea - but they look period correct and the red-dots are cool.

I've made up a 3d-printed thin adapter "gasket" to adapt from the fender crown to the flat mounting of the lights, just need some time this winter to complete the installation. Thanks for the ideas on the wiring also!

Here's a pic of original Lucas 1130 lamps: https://www.abingdoncars-components.com/uncategorized/original-lucas-1130-parking-lamps/

The 3D printed gasket opens up a world of fender/side lamps to you and that particular one looks nice.

One of the advantages to a fender lamp for short people like myself is that from a normal seated position I can see the top (about 50%) of the fender lamp letting me know where the fender really is located. Seeing that glowing fin is pretty cool and I will get a video of it the next time I am out at night.

Here is the night time lamp adjustment and test of lamps. Could not check the brake lamps because I was alone.
