I am planning to remove the Instruments from the dashboard of my 1960 Plus 4 when it goes into winter storage shortly so they can be serviced and restored. Is there anything I need to know before I roll my sleeves up and start work? Taking before photos and labeling wires to identify where they came from I have figured out.

Make sure you isolate the battery first, you seem to have it well planned.

Make a note of the mileage, just in case it comes back set to 00000.

Easier to remove the dashboard and then the instruments from the panel.
The instrument bezels can be a pain to get off with their very fine threads. Last time I removed one I ended up cutting it off, perhaps leave this taskvtk the person overhauling the instruments
