Sometimes sticky brake shoes will hold one wheel still.

Mine didn't free off for a few thousand miles.

Get a helper to turn one wheel and feel which way the other tries to turn. With LSD they should both turn the same way.

If that doesn't decide, take that brake drum off, and it should then turn freely.

Hello DaveW thank you for your info. As I have said I have lifted both wheels off the floor, the wheels are very easy to turn as I turn each wheel the opposite wheel remains still, the same with each wheel.so i still dont know if the dif is LSD or BTR .the car drives really well so i dont know which oil would be suitable for both types.

The handbook with my 2008 4/4 recommends changing diff oil at 100,000 miles. I have changed it twice in 70,000 miles. The first change was filthy
