Powerbond 806 superglue sticks like sh.. to a blanket including side screen blocks to side screens. Four spots is all you need. Degrease surfaces first.

On the topic of glueing stuff - my rear-view mirror fell off a while ago. I presume superglue would be ok for that as well...

The pad that fell off has a rubber substrate so super glue should be fine. Degrease well. Also, if you have a Librands mirror, check that the mounting is not applying pressure to the screen that will hasten the next falling off.
You will now need to carry glue and degreaser on every journey - mine lasted a maximum of 2000 miles between failures once it failed the first time.
I now have an agricultural bracket fixed to the sun visor mounts. It will never fall off. One day, I will get around to tidying it up.

I was told not to use superglue on the windscreen. The coefficient of expansion is different & you could crack the glass. There are special glues out there at Halfrauds etc

I used Tensol 12 on my sidescreeen block when it fell out, it makes an invisible clean join, it came with applicator syringe, and left a better finish than what the factory did.

These flex too much for use in a Morgan with the small pad that is fixed to the screen. The first one lasted less than 300 miles. The second one about the same. The flex is such that on a motorway, the image moves around so much that it is e=very distracting. I tried two different brands too.

This is my mirror arrangement. It works very well. When the weather is better and I have more time, I will polish it a bit better. No vibration and it is not going to fall off. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/12/07/124B11D2-73A3-4F5C-BC1F-478086A5451D.jpg)
