Hi All,
Would anyone be able to give me advice on the following please?
Bleeding clutch: how to do? any pictures? (clutch travelling to floor) Bleeding/changing fluid for brakes: I gather this should be done every two years, so I'm assuming prior owner did not do it so plan to do for peace of mind. Any instructions/pointers? What should I buy to do it with? Radiator flush: being a complete muppet, I put brakes fluid into the radiator (don't ask...). How do I flush this little fellow out please? Oh yes, and what type of coolant should I use?
Many thanks (in anticipation!) Lawson

Have you considered asking a local garage mechanic familiar with classic cars to do the job?

Brakes are something you need to be competent to do. It is not just the air you bleed off you need to remove the old fluid as it absorbs moisture. A lot of advice is here http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/allmorgan.html

LOL I have but then I decided it would be much more satisfying (fun?) to do myself. It can't be rocket science, right?

No, but it really is life and death. Read and understand before you do anything to the brakes, ideally work with somebody even then who really knows. Please. PJB.

Madmax... stop banging your head...(-: Though it does seem that the modern Morgan man is perhaps not a Morganeer as he used to be.and the GoMoG webmaster most certainly was/is ?... (-:
Lawson fear not there will be plenty of folk queuing up to provide you with all the info you might require to perform what should be a relatively simple task ..IF.. the bleed nipples are not corroded to the extent they break off when trying to unscrew them.
In an ideal world all the fluids should be replaced in time, though I have driven vehicles where the brake fluid was older than I was and it performed well.... I was younger then... (-: Thus do not get too excited about it..(-:
If you put the brake fluid in the expansion tank and not directly into the rad, then I suspect it will be floating around in there perhaps on the surface.... If you remove the tank and flush it out that will sort things out..... Do not be tempted to suck it out as brake fluid can damage kidneys let alone taste lousy....(-:
What never used the syphon technique for anything..? (-:
Good luck, happy to give you a step by step guide if required or desired.... HOWEVER all the usual disclaimers apply if you kill yourself or anybody else...(-:

Get a local fellow Morgan DIY owner to run you through the first time if you have no experience at all, running out of brakes can cause concern..

Lawson GoMoG is many years of work and research to help Morganeers understand the operation of their cars and repair them, if you root around you will find the answer to pretty much everything Morgan related...If not, we are always around as back-up.. (-:
