It is sad when quality, knowledge and passion cannot bring profit in a world when the Kardashian's can parp and it gets a note. It's good that there are still brave people in this world.

Unfortunately, we just can’t make the figures add up to continue with another year of producing the magazine.
You don’t need to do anything: we will begin the process of issuing refunds to subscribers immediately. Given the impending Christmas break, that may take a little longer than it otherwise would. We will promise to offer all refunds by 17th January at the latest, but expect it to be complete much quicker than that.
Thank you once again for supporting MotorPunk. We will continue online… and who knows, maybe we will roll through the printing presses again in future.
Kind regards,

I agree sad but not surprising. See also https://www.5054magazine.co.uk/editors-letter

Interesting maybe this a way forward, I do prefer to have a magazine or book I don't like the kindle type things.
As Ian said earlier it is the only magazine that I read cover to cover, all of it is of interest and written with such good humour I shall really miss it but continue to follow their website.

They are certainly brave and not stupid thumbs

Thank you, Alistair.

I appreciate the kind comments. It was always going to be a bit of a long shot, but I am very pleased with what we achieved, and MotorPunk will continue online and elsewhere. Personally I continue to write for other publications, have a new book on Amazon, and am making short films when time allows. You're not rid of MotorPunk just yet smile

Have a great Christmas, one and all.

The book (not car related, a black comedy about seventies TV puppets) is here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hands-real...oding=UTF8&qid=1577187724&sr=1-5

And a new feature on MotorPunk, online here - http://www.motorpunk.co.uk/features/take-60s-beetle-add-70s-englishman-80s-fiat-get/

And, again, happy Christmas to all you lot smile
