There are a couple of foils with e on the market - but they all do come with propellers....
The Jet is much friendlier to your legs if you get in contact;-)

Keep you updated with the time lines...

That sounds far safer than even a shielded propeller, the board will stop instantly if the prop gets fouled was my thinking.
Thank you for the upcoming time lines.

Registration might be a bit fraught dealing with DVLA & CAA for bike & plane aspects.

You may even need to check if it has to register on the Drone register!

Thread drift alert.

I know this doesn't fly but I have always loved this little bit of French/possibly eccentricity, it always makes me smile.

Can you imagine the benefits of not having any bugs on the windscreen, would it work like that ?

I think that would be a good advantage but maybe there would be plenty of oil instead coming back at high speed ?

Saw a couple of the flying boards in the Bay of Islands this Christmas they looked fun without the racket and wake of jet skis and I was told about $10000.00 Kiwi which didn't seem too bad compared with the electric outboards that we sell. Mind you it was flat calm and I was more impressed by a guy zipping through our anchorage weaving between the boats on a foiling board just holding a small fixed wing as opposed to a windsurfer sail or kite.
Foiling really is coming on in leaps and bounds for small craft and the Americas Cup class will show people just how fast something that looks quite ungainly can go, for those that can manage them anyway...
