We call it the "Vintage sports car challenge": they can't stand the idea that an old banger is in front of them. Of course what they don't know is that under the bonnet it may not be an old banger.

No BMW drivers do that to anyone. They also have the indicators removed.

Went into Felixstowe to get fuel for the Folkmog meeting tomorrow.
The sun was great with no cloud so a warm fun run with heated seats , the heater & the tonneau.

Grace to dry weather, gone for a 35 miles tour around Touraine little villages. Met an old mech, just to talk with a passionate guy and know him just in case he could be needed in the future... He just received an old Daimler cabriolet, never seen such a car before. Looked like Italian style , beautiful.

Nice dry day but a little chilly, so top down and heater on for a 34 mile round trip to Uncle Melvyn's emporium. A variety of very nice cars to be seen. They were taking a customer Aeromax with side exhausts out of the showroom to run the engine and what a glorious sound that was. I gather it may be up for sale shortly.

“There must be a small proportion of BMW drivers who are not idiots. That obviously includes every Morgan owner who has had a BMW in the past, or has enjoyed BMW products in their Morgan. Or flown a Focke-Wulf 190. Clearly, all the rest of BMW’s annual output of 2.3 million cars go to irresponsible idiots. It’s a wonder there are not more accidents.

Bought my first new 3 series in 1995 and had mainly BMW's ever since with a few Audi's, Mercedes and Jaguars in between. I have to say the indicators worked exactly the same on all of them!

Had a BMW FOR seven years worst car I have ever owned, cost me a fortune in repairs. Don't think it ever affected my driving standard.
