New discovery !!!!!...no not the 4x4 variety but I made a new discovery on a 200 mile trip in the Supersports today...mostly on motorways.. The car goes faster if I wear earplugs.. Discuss !!! Sadly saw a badly damaged Morgan on a truck travelling south on the A1..hope driver was ok. Filling up with 97 ron rocket fuel..delayed by old gentleman telling me about his 1963 3 bearing MGB...still it made him happy !!! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/16/20200116_124711.jpg)

Faster with earplugs? mmm - didn't know that. I do know I'm slow on the up-take ( and over-take come to that) but what is the white thing sitting on the Morgan? Looks like its wearing a crash hat! Looks Ok, just wasn't aware the Amond tart mobile had adopted topping!

When you have a toupe, you need protection...…………………….
Oh, no, that's when you have a coupe you have protection...…..the earplugs confused me.

Definitely faster with ear plugs. Can't hear SWMBO telling me to slow down......... Mrs F had lost her voice once when we drove down the Fosse Way. Journey time from Costock to Somerset (150 miles+) was reduced by 30 minutes.

Great run to Budleigh Salterton in bright sunshine, but cold - scenic route back home via Sidbury and Ottery St Mary. Great start to the weekend! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/18/image0.jpg)

Beautiful photo Ken, and of one of my favourite views. The lovely G and I have walked that walk many times, both along the beach and inland over the Otter, on to the headland and Ladram Bay. I could happily settle down somewhere near there. Sigh.... I guess you were shooting from the car park, and the cricket pitch is back behind on the other side. Looks like you are almost in the Otter!

Glorious, if a bit chilly, run down to near Poole yesterday. I resorted to the vintage, classic, rug over my legs and knees, the heater wasn't a match for the cold!
There is nothing like the sun and a blue sky to make a Morgan journey special. Picked up some further bits from the HiFi dealer, drove home "the long way round" and once home played with the new bits. Brilliant day and the week ahead looks super.
Tarka is a bit mucky.... a lot of wet roads in Wiltshire/Dorset where the amount of rain is more than the drainage can manage, but I'm not going to wash the car, yet!
