BTW, we do...not instead..., in more of it! the business language is still USenglish, maybe our grandchildren will learn chinese... Good points, maybe a little survey on here to see how many speak French would be rather embarrassing - Chinese could well be a new language for us all.

The song did make me laugh, but it is a bit derivative of the song performed by Howard Goodall in Rowan Atkinson's one-man show in 1980 "I hate the French" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Dy-VhtGcXwOh, and as well as pork and mutton, they neglected to mention beef either, so I'm afraid that'll be off the menu too !!
