Last night we went to see the (Italian) Sticky Fingers Rolling Stones tribute band at the local theatre. It was a concert in aid of a local support organisation for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. They were pretty good and the concert was quite enjoyable particularly the guitar players and the drummer. Somehow the lead singer even managed to look like Mick Jagger
Here are a couple of numbers that they did, but from the master himself.
This was possibly the biggest collection of talent on one stage ever, a terrific concert.
I totally agree with you, have just played both those tracks and a few more from the concert, what I would give to have been there. Only one other concert I would rate as highly and that is "Buena Vista Social Club" in Carnegie hall. So another bottle of red I think.
Great stuff ..... I'm in a more reflective mood tonight ..... don't I wish I had one tenth of this man's guitar talent .... simple and effortless but just right
Manfred Man, The Kinks and Long John Baldry in Earlham Park Norwich for me and the Equals in Norwich at the Gala, Denny Lane at Cromer Links Pavilion crazy fun days.
