Mine fell off, so the new ones are stuck in place with sticky number plate pads. I applied PPF to the corners first to avoid any rubbing of the paint. They look good IMO especially if you have the bonnet belt in matching colours.

My car came with leather ones. I took them off. The leather was hard and there were minute signs of wear to paint but caught early enough to polish out.
As for the rear corners, I now have extenders to open a gap to let hot air flow out. It's a Plus8 and generates a lot of heat. They seem to be working as fan cut-in has reduced. People do "warn" me about the bonnet being open due to the gap.

I have had these fitted permantly for years, even though my Morgan is a 4/4, as it certainly helps on those hot summers days drives to Le Mans.
Like you, I'm oftern told "your bonnets open mate" even from Morgan owners. But I can live with that.

I had the rubber ones that kept calling off. Got
Wise and cutsmall triangles of sticky neoprene under each corner. Stops rubbing and can't be seen...result.

I'll try that one Ray thanks, I've tried the rubber one' s and took them off in disgust and the leather one's won't be good in the wet stuff. I prefer the clean uncluttered look of the bonnet too.
Can you recall where you got them from at all please.

. Rich, if you mean the neoprene, it was off a eBay site. Plenty on there.

I use Velcro self adhesive tape. The soft side not the hook one. That works.
