Nice spin around the local area today. Had the back end kick out on me today on a right hander at a junction. Glad you didn't loose it. When they go it can be real fun. How old are the tyres?

142 mile round trip to Allon White and back to pick up a centre console. Good catch up with Phil and Julie whilst we were, chatting mainly about the new PlusFour. Unfortunately can’t make the trip to MMC on Wednesday that he invited me to coz me and a mate are already going to Silverstone that day. Such a shame. Picked up a copy of Phil’s excellent new book at the same time.
Top notch journey roof down with about half an hour in the sun! Even Lady HB enjoyed it once we had worked out how she could get in and out without dislocating her hip!
At times of stress a trip in a Morgan is the best medicine and should be available on prescription for those unlucky enough not to have access to one....

Glad you didn't loose it. When they go it can be real fun. How old are the tyres? Not sure to be honest. There is tons of tread on them. Caught me off guard as Ive done that turn a load of times before with no sniff of trouble. I can only presume there was some diesel on the moist road.

Just in case you don’t know where to look, here is the Kwik Fit guide to tyre age. I will change mine at 7 years.

...How old are the tyres?
I will change mine at 7 years. 😳 On a light weight car like a Morgan I would not keep tyres longer than 5 years.

Lovely dry trip out to Chagford on Dartmoor for lunch, after 16 years Morganing I still love the feeling it imbues with the V8 talking away to you and the sky above the smell and sights of the Moor are very special.
The kayakers at Salmons Leap were out in force today 50 + in the Café car Park.
The only car of interest was a white MGA with big waves all round everybody is happy the blessed rain has stopped down here.
