Simon. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly the other day. I found the leak in my original radiator and I think it's an easy fix. That said, the beauty of your radiators has me thinking about replacing it anyway. I just have to figure out how to mount it in front of the cowl, or fabricate a clear cowl, so that that everyone can see it. Truly a work of art!

I will go for a full bumper and one of Cain’s valances eventually (now I’m confident I can make a good job of spraying up a valance) possibly next year but as a temporary measure I lowered the front number plate

Before I bought it and after

That was such a good idea to lower the number plate Stewart, I have just done that on mine and I really like the result.
I'm not a fan of the front splitter and dropping the numberplate to protect my new radiator sorted the problem.
Thanks for posting those photos
cheers

Hello all

I’m new to the forum as just bought a 2005 Roadster a couple of months ago. So learning as I go......

Have a radiator leak and very much like the idea of moving to an Aluminium replacement, I do have the aircon unit hence sounds like I will need the shortened version, is the 04 talked about in the thread the same as the 05 with 3.0L engine? Was there a follow up to the question posed regarding removable of aircon unit to change the radiator out?

Question for Simon - are you able to ship units to the USA as live in Indianapolis, IN? (but grew up in Shrewsbury many moons ago).

Thanks
Stuart

Hi Stuart
Welcome to TM

I’ve no problem shipping to the states, and yes, you will need one of the shortie radiators

Perfect and thanks for responding so quickly, you have no idea how nice that is:)

John - thanks for confirming

Simon - I’ll call on Monday to get the rad ordered.

Cheers Stuart
