I have had a sore throat (with metallic taste in the mouth), runny nose & dry cough since Monday. No fever but the odd chill. I think it is a seasonal cold. So & I are self isolating. Judging by us by shares in online traders. I spent yesterday cancelling / rescheduling trips I did sell my ISA shares as the market is falling. All 3 of the companies hare price has risen whilst the FTSE plummets. My DC scheme fund is down massively The Mog is calling from the garage. The papers say I can go out & about next week but needs to stay home for another week. That is popular ! But we are alive & kicking for now. Anyone else enjoying this experience?

Naa, still at work keeping the wheels of industry turning, however the commute is amazing, it's like everyone's on Xmas hols Worried for Mrs M, she's going to be redeployed to a far more risky part of the NHS system soon

What is really frustrating Steve is that Janice also has a dry cough when we came back from NZ via Singapore on 3/3. With no testing we don't know if we have had the bloody thing. We are alive the house is paid for etc. We are to quote Monty Pyhton "Lucky Bastards"

We seem to be OK, temperature normal each morning. Like John, we are "Lucky Bastards", although my SIPP is in pain.
We are self isolating, but not 100%. We keep at least 2m away from all people. We ask anyone who visits (cleaner, hairdresser this week) if they have taken their temperature. If it is normal we let them in. I wear disposable gloves when going to Tesco. I disinfect the front door furniture every morning. We go to the stables as normal. I go out in Tarka as normal.
We have enough toilet paper, cat food, horse food and other critical stuff.
I had an e-mail from a friend in the USA. He said "man up and die like a gentleman"! Quite.

John V6 - hope it passes in a way that leaves the host in good shape. Take care and do very little seems to be the drill.
My last two remaining clients have isolated me for now, and will be picking up the final days after May. That so, we are starting the chores, I cleaned out the bike shed this morning and took some precious possessions to the dump, assorted wires, plugs, broken security lamp and so on ditching the boxes that contained them and freeing up space for ......... more junk.

Yep, we're pretty much isolated. No visitors, very brief trips into town to go to the veg stall in the market, chats with the neighbours over the fence. We had an Ocado delivery a couple of weeks ago so no need for supermarket visits for a while. The only resource we're concerned about is coffee beans, we have about 3 weeks worth left. Hopefully Ocado will have sorted out their supply chain by then. I'm staying away from the pub, but I send money via PayPal to help keep them going. The local organic dairy keeps us in cheese, eggs, milk and cream.
It's not about "Social Distancing" for us. "Physical Distancing but Social Solidarity" is where it's at.

We are in significantly reduced contact, not full isolation. No Corona symptoms. My sinus played up, it has for years after a dental visit. Perfect sinus induced symptoms that I recognise from many bouts. My own private nurse ( ) is a retired nurse and agrees re no Corona symptoms. Plenty of open air time walking the dog. I pre-empted golf club isolation though. I play in the Seniors section and am one of the younger ones and didn’t want to risk it. The club has now postponed matches, section days, matches versus other clubs etc throughout March/April. I may go to play for practice though....so.o golf or on the range. The next watch point is the grandchildren, when the school closes, work a rota with daughter/SIL round their work provided isolation doesn’t become needed.

Not really but SWMBO is on immuno-suppressents so she is in the 'at risk' group.
I guess we are socially distancing. Should be at car club now but writing this instead.

Sospan....I know what you mean about sinus issues. I’ve just come out of self isolation having being exposed to a guy who subsequently went down with confirmed Coronavirus. I’ve now come out as it’s been three weeks yesterday that I met him....phew. But nagging sore throat from my sinus didn’t help me relax the past couple of weeks!
Just reread what I’ve typed........”I’ve now come out.......I met him”. Nooooooooo!
