While rebuilding the rear brakes I cleaned up the splined hubs. I usually coat the splines with general purpose grease, so as I have clean hubs this would be an opportune time to apply something else.
What do you recommend?
The local Auto store is still open although on restricted hours for now.

+1. But be careful the splines can be very sharp. I used a 1" paint brush.

Generally speaking, if your wire wheel hub splines are sharp enough to injure you, it's a sign they are past their best and should be replaced.

Agreed but by design they get sharp over time & greasy hand cut easily.

I've used copperslip for this application for 52 years and still going, TVR Grantura, Triumph GT6, TR4A, TR5, TR6, AM DBS6, and even my +4
