We know somebody who bought a second freezer.
I bet there's been a run on chest freezers...….. . Have they thought of what happens when the power cuts start.

Panic buying freezers is ridiculous. Generators will be next. We're slipping into the loony "end of the world" mentality.
Do we really want to survive with people like this??????

It’s started Our power to the village of Croston went off at 5:00am this morning Went on the Electricity NW website around 9 this morning to find it was in hand and that the estimated return of power was 12:00 midday Funnily enough (or not) it came back on at exactly 12:00 Gave me opportunity to forget the world for a few hours though and I got the Mog out and actually I’ve had a fabulous day

Just have a look on the interweb - freezers sold out totally on AO, ApplianceExpress and Amazon having just returns. They need them to keep the toilet rolls fresh!!

Just heard from a friend of mine who, together with his partner, is self isolating. His partner’s daughter is doing the shopping for them but finding that she cannot complete their shopping list due to the panic buying.
So, does anyone know a recipe for 3 onions and 1 Daily Mail?

Looking to take the motor home to a secluded forest site for dog walking tomorrow - no pubs etc needed, but The Caravan and Motor home club today have shut down all the sites until the end of June.

I would suggest trading the daily mail (which is crap at best) as "future pre-cycled toilet roll" on eBay, waiting for the money to roll in and swapping it for a pack of pork mince and some lasagne sheets then trading up for a KFC family bucket?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Friends of my parents who live in a very small village in Cumbria wanted to take their motor home today up to a site in the Hebredes, so they rang ahead only to be told they weren’t wanted ‘No one from urban areas’ He tried to argue that they were from one of the most rural locations in the North West from a tiny village without any pub or even a shop They weren't having any of it so have had to cancel the trip Not judging one way or the other but it just shows what’s going on
