Hurrah, McDonalds are closing. I see this as a positive: no more bags of McDonald's crap thrown out and onto the road/hedge!! The Nova, Fiesta driving chavs will now have to borrow a tartan rug, fill up a flask and get their cheese sandwiches out of a Tupperware box? 
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

I see it as a brave step by them & showing corporate responsibility. I don't like their food but this is a gutsy decision.

I am no fan of McDonalds and it must be 45 years since I had one. Have you thought of the thousands of staff that will loose their jobs or at least their income? Not so funny for the (mainly) youngsters that work there I fear. Are you still laughing now? Most people are being very understanding but there are examples of human behaviour that still surprise me, very sad. Colin

Zero hours contracts are looking bad - can they get any assistance from Govt ?
