Hi
Service time for the Plus 4. I have searched here but can't find a thread on this and Dave's book does mention the air filter. So does anyone have details of a non Morgan sourced air filter for a 2012 Plus 4, please? It can't be a Morgan special as the housing doesn't fit properly and rubs on the bonnet. Then again..... ;-)

Nick Are you asking what filter element to purchase to replace the existing one as a routine service item or do you want to change the whole filter unit to something else, such as a K & N ?

I am after the existing spec - I don't need a high performance filter. Just trying to reverse spec from the K&N version.

Suggest you use e bay or the web to look then for the K&N part number. It should lead you back to the original.
The airbox should be the same so then I wonder at your comment "It can't be a Morgan special as the housing doesn't fit properly and rubs on the bonnet. Then again..... ;-)"
I wold imagine it is the original morgan part.

I meant that if it had been a unique Morgan part, it probably would have fitted under the bonnet properly - so I think it must be an off the shelf part from another vehicle?

I understood Nick that the filter fits well into the airbox but the airbox does not fit so well into the car. This is at least the case with my Sigma 4/4. The Fiesta airbox fits but MMC has filed off the edges of the housing in two places to prevent it from rattling against other parts in the engine compartment.
