So there !!!!….. Somehow there is an element out there that is determined to deny pleasure despite there being no danger in driving any car a shortish distance without infecting anyone and doing some food shopping at same time ! Don't feel guilty ! Of course driving up the M6 to collect some windows off e bay with your wife in the boot is a different matter ........

Agree Steve...
Its part of my volunteering service ..driving to a center and then into a van delivering ppe to surgeries, pharmacys and health centers.
It makes people happy to see it and it makes me happy to drive it !!!
No guilt felt !!!

Yes, this is the time to carry out the little jobs on the MOG. I'm slowly rebuilding my MOG but unfortunately the head is at a engineering company about 20 miles away and the parts I'm ordering from Burton can be posted to me but that's it. I don't want to put myself in the position of trying to explain to the Police why I'm on the road. Anyway the most important thing for everyone on Talk Morgan wherever you are in the world is to wash your hands and stay 2 metres away from other people.

I am obviously late to the party - but has the special project car been finished and is now with you Brian? Thanks Neil, it was finished nearly a year ago but stayed at the factory for a while as MMC wanted to use it, but in the end didn’t. Did I read somewhere that you are moving house, is that now on hold because of the virus or have you done it? Looking forward to the usual meet up when we are free to do it Neil... Hi Brian.... Yes I did move house. A weekend of high drama as half my belongings were in the new house and half in the old - just as the country went into lockdown. Impeccable timing! My removal company cancelled on the eve of the move, so I scrambled to hire a van and did it myself. I am now in splendid isolation in rural Hampshire. Looking forward to drinking a vat of Pomerol with you when this is over.

had to post a letter just now. Having put it in the box, and as it was sunny I drove on, almost as far as the letter was going... passed a builder who gave me a big thumbs up and wide smile. I don't know who enjoyed the drive more, me or the Morgan.

Perhaps I am reading the advice from the Government differently to "some" (and don't want to come across as a kill joy either) but I thought all non-essential travel was banned and we are to stay indoors? www.gov.uk30/03/2020 · Following on from the government’s guidance on social distancing in relation to COVID-19, people should avoid travelling unless it is essential. Oh well......

Non essential travel is certainly not acceptable, but for essential travel there is nothing I can find that suggests what form of vehicle should be used. I did our weekly shop in Waitrose today, quite a reasonable experience. They had a fixed number of trollies, so one out, one in. The line, snaking at 4m intervals, zig-zag up and down the carpark. I waited between 10 and 15 mins, it didn't seem long. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/03/31/Shopping-Line.jpg) So next week I'll take the Morgan!! We can certainly manage with one shopping trip a week. Salisbury is seen as "low risk" but Southampton and Portsmouth are another thing all together, wild horses wouldn't drag me into any major city at the moment.
