Note that the shoes have a different lining thickness. The leading shoe is thicker....this is offside. Yours being older may use linings the same thickness, but take photos before you start.
The shoe retainers are 8 o'clock and 3 o'clock.
Back the handbrake off as Richard said. The new shoes will need it well slackened to get the drum back on, and the shoes must be perfectly concentric with the drum.
If you have a raised rusty lip inside the drum, remove it.
The linkages are quite complex, so photograph close up.
It's also recommended that you chamfer the leading edge of the shoes, so on this image, 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock.
After refitting the drum, stamp on the brake pedal, and yank the handbrake a few times to centralise everything.
Check that the drum rotates reasonably freely, but expect some light rubbing until the shoes bed in.
Finally re-adjust the handbrake.
