Has anyone else giggled at pointless adverts that still appear on the TV - or arrive into your inbox, now that Covid-19 has rendered the item or service unusable?? Today I have/seen/received: - Fly with Easy-Jet for a Get Away From It All Break. - Time to upgrade to an Approved Used Merc Benz - Over 50's are ready to be Dated in My Area! I am sure there are many more.... 
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

Yes many of the ad's do seem to be out of kilter, you do feel sorry for all those companies that have dumped a big chunk of budget on advertising for a peak season (half term etc) only to end up here. Mind you it would be great if there were no adverts and we got a 3min black screen between product placement programs....
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The Smithsonian channel has an advert shown at around 11 pm which is clearly aimed at getting kids to eat veg. Not that you can get much in the shops. Seems like one this girl should watch. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/627750/moms-cooking#Post627750

My favourite is on Classic fM - British Gas advertising that with a homecare policy they will come to fix whatever goes wrong. Followed a few minutes later by one saying that engineers have to prioritise & please try to fix it yourself following their handy tips on the website.

My favourite is on Classic fM - British Gas advertising that with a homecare policy they will come to fix whatever goes wrong. Followed a few minutes later by one saying that engineers have to prioritise & please try to fix it yourself following their handy tips on the website. In fairness to British Gas our heating went on the blink, we got in touch via the web yesterday afternoon and an engineer has been and gone this morning, not bad service under the present circumstances.
