I am; short and sit low, that is. I wouldn't be without them. Flipped up or down they give a good measure of shade. With a four-seater - and although any rear-seat passengers are provided with goggles - when the visors are fully up they give a degree of wind protection to those in the back.

I have sunvisors and I do like them. They do deflect some wind and light rain and look good as well.

I'm tall so they are no good to me in the lowered position, but with the hood down I have them pushed up above the screen and they are vital when the sun is low in winter or setting in summer. May need to squeeze the hinge side slightly in a vice (very carefully!) to stop them blowing down in the wind or moving with the vibration of the car. Definitely recomend getting them!

WOW, thanks for all the responses. EWN, I have some polarized sun glasses and, like you, have found them helpful when driving into the rising or setting Sun. I also agree with the fact that the ones I've seen seem too large....large being the distance from the leading edge to the trailing edge.

BUT....given the cost, versus the benefit (and/or nuisance) and the opinions seem pretty evenly split between the get them/don't bother camps. I'm leaning towards buying them, having the dealer install them, and then having the option of leaving them on/removing and storing.

Speaking if WIND DEFLECTORS....is there a consensus on having/not having them?

They get in the way of the wind. Side screens stop the cold breeze. But once it warms up why bother.
P.S. All my Mogs except the Roadster have had aero screens to get a more motorcycle sensation. The Roadster screen pillars make that very difficlut.

I have them and find them pretty useless on my plus 4. The sun always seems to be above them (I’m about 6ft). I leave a baseball cap in the glove box. Much more effective.

When the sun is low, I need to wear a hat to give some shade, even with the roof on. I think I’ll get sun visors fitted at some point.

Tinted perspex visors used to be available and I have some on my Roadster. I have fitted the brackets upside down and the visors are fixed in the up position.

For a while, Mini tinted visors were available on e-bay. They might still be. For about £35 you get a pair with four brackets. These visors are too narrow for the Morgan screen stubs, but it's easy to get laser cut tinted perspex on line.

We had wind deflectors on our first Morgan. They did not even make the maybe list when we specified the current car.

Just a pain to work around without any real benefit.

The sun visors made the cut and have proved indispensable.

It's all marginal, you have a narrow band when you can line the sun up behind them, or a narrow band that drives inclement weather over them. Most of the time it doesn't seem worth the ducking diving of your head.
