Going away from the music side of things (being fairly tone deaf I gave up trying to play the guitar donkeys years ago) but still on activities, there is a bit of a push in amateur radio to find alternatives to operating from mountain / hill tops etc. The activity is Gardens on the Air and our local radio club decided to have a bash, I think I might have a few too many portables, but it was a bit of fun for an hour or so (particularly the sausage roll mentioned earlier!)  ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/12/L1070849.jpg)

I am now cleaning the pond filter on a daily basis, where as I used to do it once a month.
Nothing like establishing some routine and focus. Can you see the bottom of the pond through crystal clear water, with the fish seemingly hanging in space? If not, then you need to clean the filter twice a day, perhaps!

I am slowly turning into a Grizzly Adams looky-likey.
Missed a trick of a haircut before lockdown but managing the beard ok with the dog trimmer.
At some stage I will have to risk swmbo wielding the dog trimmers on my hair. She could practice on Monty first.
I fancy a Mohican.
What colour should I dye it?
Vegetable dyes are available......
Beetroot, turmeric for a start.
Cochineal is a good one as it would match (ish) the Mog.
Should I dye my chest to match?
Hmmmmm........
Am I showing early symptoms of cabin fever?

I did absolutely nothing at all today. I was going to wash the A35, but couldn't summon up the energy. Perhaps tomorrow, perhaps not. Tday, it all seems rather pointless. Why? I watched this Youtube Video. https://youtu.be/Gdd7dtDaYmMIt is an hour long.

Before devoting an hour of my life to watching this, I thought I'd check its source. It was made by an outfit called "The Epoch Times" So I checked the Wikipedia entry
The Epoch Times is a multi-language newspaper.[2] It was founded in 2000 by John Tang and a group of Chinese Americans associated with the Falun Gong spiritual movement.[3] Though the newspaper is known for general interest topics with a focus on news about China and its human rights issues, it has become known for its support of U.S. President Donald Trump and favorable coverage of far-right politicians in Europe; a 2019 report showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertising after the Trump campaign.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] The newspaper is part of the Epoch Media Group, which also operates New Tang Dynasty Television (NTD).[7] The group's news sites and YouTube channels have spread conspiracy theories such as QAnon and anti-vaccination propaganda.[7][12][13]
Given that, I don't think I'll bother to watch the video, I'm not exactly confident of it being entirely honest in its motives!
