No chance of that - I don't get the whole polishing thing either grin2

You may well need several Ales to recover if it's a warm one today laugh2

learning to play the guitar, my son who is a collector has lent me a 1969 Gibson 355 & a marshall Jmp amp. A bit like learning to drive in a vintage car.

At least you have your Morgans at home to ponder on whether to polish or not, some of us have theirs stuck in a dealers in lockdown banghead

Although it did send me a message a couple of days ago (via Trackstar) to plug it in, as it was getting low on power, nothing about missing me though....

I’m doing the Fender Play course. I’ve played badly for years so thought I’d take some time to “ learn”

Accidentally ordered an electric guitar to enhance MrsJBs lock down. She is ok with the acoustic guitars- but I’m looking after my godson’s Boss Katana amp during lockdown- so the new electric guitar seemed like a good idea ( to me)

I don't polish often, in fact it's been two years. It's no fun for me. I only do it to apply wax afterwards to protect the car, not so much because I would like it. The biggest unwanted side effect of polishing and waxing: A whole day long extreme headache, because I keep forgetting that I hold the bottle with the poisonous fumes in my left hand so stupidly close to my nose. Nevertheless, it is time to protect the car again.

JB62, Instead of polishing we can also get a spray can with new paint and apply to our cars:)

I think that's a very nice gesture by your son! And it is so beautifully described by you....Learning to play the guitar on the Vintage guitar. Yeah, that must be a very cool feeling.

I too am learning to play the guitar. Bought an Epiphone AJ-220S acoustic and subscribed to a Udemy course (£15 for the course down from £150 when I subscribed). The course is excellent with well thought out videos, good hand-outs and useful exercises.

I also bought a copy of Bert Weedon's Play in a Day.

I now have sore finger tips and a muddled brain but I am getting there. I have plenty of time to practice!
