A slew of Morgan’s 16 or 17, I need to list them again - still have the three shown below...

Not sure what makes a classic, but some of the following were interesting whilst some were excruciating!
Started with an MG TC and had several of these...
Graduated to a Morris MiniCooper, then a 997 Cooper S, then a couple of 1275 S’s
Then a Triumph TR4, then married so changed to a more practical Mini Cooper S again.
Then a Jaguar Mk 11 3.8
Ford Escort Mexico
Ford Escort RS1600 - East African Safari spec
Porridge for more than a few years, then first Morgan Plus 8
VW Golf GTi Mk 1
VW Scirroco Mk 1
MG RV8
Had a Ford Dealership so a string of fast Fords, including a Cosworth RS500
Ford Sierra Cosworth
Ford Escort Cosworth RS
MGB
Jaguar XJ6
Porsche Carrera (air-cooled)
Porsche 911 Carrera (996)
Honda S800
Porsche 911 Carrera (991)
Bristol Blenheim S
Mercedes C63 S
Westfield FW 400 - for sale
Ultima GTS Avalanche - for sale
McLaren 650 S
Porsche Boxster GTS
McLaren 720 S
Mercedes C63 Coupe S - still owned
McLaren 600 LT - still owned

Currently self-isolated so none of our cars (SWMBO has a Smart Sport Convertible) have been driven for over 4-weeks so quietly, but quickly depreciating, apart from maybe the Morgans! 😱😩

@aeroman, having part built an Ultima and then 2nd time finishing one with a friend, I remember a builder in Teddington near Cheltenham building an Ultima and having Avalanche engraved on dash. Was light grey. Yours now ?

Yes DJW, seems it’s the same car! However, we had it completely rebuilt by Charles Dunn, the Ultima specialist in Woburn Green, as although the mechanical spec was terrific it had some shortcomings. It is now really is an amazing drive, but my brother is now racing and I’m track-dayed out. I just lost interest so the Ultima had to go along with the other track-day car...

It’s on Pistonheads but who knows in the current circumstances when it might sell... If you know anyone who wants a serious Ultima please send them the link!

Love your Lotus Elan Plus 2 and the Elan is a box I’d love to tick, maybe when the Ultimate goes! innocent

I was always bike focussed until a couple of years ago including
Norton Commando 750 , which I wrote off
R90 BMW
1938 Norton Model
LeMans MK1

Car wise
MG Midget,
MX5
Grinnal Scorpion (3 wheeler) Which was my motorcycle substitute but my wife refused to Go in as she thought it was too dangerous hence why I sold it to buy my first Morgan

I have a 1961 Lancia Flaminia Convertible and a modern classic, the Aston Martin Vanquish.

Previous classics have included 1964 Lancia Flavia Convertible, 1985 Ferrari Mondia QV Convertible, 1952 Morgan Plus 4 flat rad.

All the rest, whilst now considered classics, were at the time old bangers!

I have a pal with one of those... pretty cars. I also had a Vanquish when they first came out.

I liked the front but had never seen the rear design before, that is really pretty. I am guessing the light/wing shape was influenced by some of the post war US coupes

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
