New series starting on More4, Monday 20th April at 9:00 p.m. "How to Build British", An access-all-areas look at the step-by-step process of how to construct the most impressive cars on the planet, told by the specialists who do it every day. Episode 1 is Bentley, there is an episode on Morgan but they don't say when yet.

Over here I am watching on Acorn TV; Vintage Roads Great and Small with Peter Davidson and Christopher Timothy in a 4/4 driving the old roads of the British Isles. Very pleasant viewing.

Saw the Bentley one last night. Amazing how something so electrically complex can be built, tested and finished in only 16 hours. Not decrying the complexity of that W12 engine though or the level of perfection with the interior materials. Truly impressive.
Interesting facts: the combined cable length in the wiring loom is 5 miles! The W12 engine is shorter than the lesser capacity V8.

I gave up halfway through it the whole experience was efficient and totally characterless - I'm looking forward to the Morgan one when it screens.

I gave up halfway through it the whole experience was efficient and totally characterless - I'm looking forward to the Morgan one when it screens. You possibly missed the bit in the Trim Shop that made me laugh Richard - they only use hides from the male bull as those from the female bull can have stretch marks due to pregnancy (or words to that effect)... So that would be from a cow then?  Overall I enjoyed it. Definitely looking forward to the Morgan one
