Although it is only April with clear skies my array has been generating at record levels beating the best summer month figures achieved.
Maybe it is the lack of pollution.
Has anyone else seen the same effect?

Yes, mine seems to be up, too. Can't remember how the weather was last April though

John ... is your array roof mounted or on a purpose built frame? .... If the former then the pitch might actually optimise for the sun at this height rather than mid summer ..... alternatively if on a frame it may he they've pitched it in favour of early sun to maximise cumulative output ....normally that could be masked by the generally better summer weather ....not your typical year for spring weather !!

If I remember rightly, solar panels work better when cool. So spring sun without the summer heat gives better efficiency

22.85kwh today, and my roof mounted panels face South East, so not perfect.
So far this month 370 kwh, Both March and April achieved more than September last year.
This quarter is looking good: my next meter reading goes in to EON on 7th June. Should be a stonker!

Have had a solar array for 8 years. This April has been the best ever for April generation figures. And the month is not over yet!

Roof mounted & 18 months old . I track it daily (I love the feeling of making money  ) so I know it is better than last year & far better than last summer.
