In Torquay we got lots of acts in the summer. The Strawbs Slade Queen etc
I saw Deep Purple as a support group at Malvern Winter Gardens. Taste were headlining.

Hawkwind played at Stonehenge at the Solstice in - I think 82. We drove down from Bristol Uni in a battered Mini Clubman with a rotted floor. We had cheap King Edwards from an Army buddy and a few bottles of port. Dunno why! Just remember it!!

Taste were amazing ,Rory Gallagher was such a talent. I have visited the festival in Ireland which celebrates his legacy and it was fantastic .
