I dont need an excuse to drive the Morgan, tha Saab wagons battery is dead, the aircon doesn't work and its having a rest after its 168000 miles;probably sulking too after being turned into a temporary Morgan workshop! And unless I get one of these and bring work home, I'll just have to go to them. sunny

I also made the decision and agreed to the spirit of the lock down by not using my Morgan and importantly not put - anyone one else at risk i.e. emergency services, breakdown drivers/services etc.

I do wonder if we would have been in the grip of of really cold freezing/snowy/wet weather, if all these essential (shopping) journeys (hood down) would have been completed?

Went shopping today. As I got in the garage I admired how I have put magnets on some rally plaques to stick to the old freezer. Then I realised just over a year ago we did the Sheringham to Sandringham run on St Georges Day. What a difference a year make.

I did today though get a thumbs up from a passing police bike on the A12 dual carriageway.

Just a quick 2 minute spin round the block to check my new brakes were working OK. Thankfully no emergency/breakdown services needed smile smile smile

Mind you, it's the first time I've left the environs of my house for four weeks.

To get thumbs up from a Policeman while driving a 'non essential vehicle' has to be major progress , very glad to hear it and puts me in a better frame of mind going down to KH this Friday morning for booked in service ! (previously cancelled at end March). thumbs

Steve,
give the guys my best at KH. The seats were full of shopping so I would hope the Policeman felt my journey was essential.
I was also at a steady 65 as there were a few squad cars around I assume looking for speeders.
Drive safe
John

Three days of rain here, so working indoors, and waiting for the rain to stop, so covers on.

Found some image editing app and worked some trickery, so I can still look beneath the covers!!
