I am with Stuart. I watched the Aston Martin programme last week and enjoyed it, but was ready to pick holes in the Morgan version as I know the factory so well. But no, thought they did an excellent job.

What's the possibility of setting up a go pro to video a hi def TV and doing a live stream .... there could be two 'showings' .... one timed to suit the western hemisphere and one for the east..... quite a communal forum activity to think of various regional Mog owners settling down with their popcorn like a very dispersed cinema smile

K

Ps .. sadly I have neither the equipment or skills to do this myself

Well that was really good for so many reasons. What do they say about a man with a Rolls/Bentley. They have four other cars and a floating gin palace

It made the Bentley look like a volume production machine and not a handmade car, which it really is but perhaps with a few benefits. It really bought out the truth of handmade and makes the cars price look exceptional in truth. If you look at the time to "assemble" the other cars and the real engagement just look at the length of the different builds and it shows how much real labour goes into the Morgan. Only sick that I cannot go out and let people see the Coupe as I drive it around so they can say "it's one of those cars from the telly".

The timing of the series for th Plus Six was great. Best bit of PR and probably more productive than the Geneva show from a public point of view. I guess Geneva is more about connecting with the press. It should drive a good level of interest and enquiries while we are all stuck at home as keyboard warriors. It would be interesting to see the web site stats and also the use of the configuration tool on line following it.

It was also nice to see the big canvas of the Aero Coupe by Ian from Pop Bang Colour. I think I remember watching him do it at Shelsey for the Thrill on the Hill.

I do hope it turns into orders. The car looked brilliant in that colour and it deserves the opportunity to be considered as that big discretionary purchase alongside Astons and Bentley's. In this modern non-differentiated world it shows that money does not equal better.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I watched the very good programme but then thought are all Morgan cars going to cost north of £77,000, except for the 3 wheeler?

I eventually watched the Bentley one. Compared to the Mog I guess a lot of car for the money but I just wonder how long before the electrics start giving faults.

Get it fixed before warranty runs out innocent

MMC are generous in this respect arranging for the bubbling to appear to the keen eye comfortably before your 30 months is up doh

Watched on catch-up last night and I do think it’s the best film I’ve seen on the Morgan story. Nice to see many familiar faces in the factory, though surprised they did not show one of the guides and a posse of visitors going round!

Prior to buying my Morgan I did own a low mileage Bentley Arnage. Whilst it was beautiful to look at, sit in and drive I was plagued by electrical gremlins over the 2 years I had it!!! The result, frequent visits to an independent in Chichester which overall cost me around £3000 just for the electrics.
The worst fault being the alarm ecu which cost over £500 for a refurbished one and nearly the same amount in labour!!!!.
Add to that, Faulty air conditioning, window mechanism and consumables like brake discs /pads/tyres and the next bill nearly £6000.
Glad I have finally seen sense in my old age; between the Bentley and prior to that an Aston DB9 the maintenance costs would have seen me nearly 1/2 way toward buying my Plus 4!!!

Hang on, let's be realistic here. This wasn't primetime Saturday on ITV, it was More4 on a Monday. The audience will be measured in thousands not millions. According to this site the audience share for the Bentley episode was 2.5%.
