It was a post lockdown shakedown. A two hour round trip with a mate on the great roads north of Vienna. Hannes we must have ended up quite close to your place. The photo was taken in the Kellergasse at Velm Götzendorf after picking up some supplies from Villinger. Strangely, with two cartons of wine placed carefully over the rear axles the scuttle shake which has been plaguing me disappeared. Ewn .... burning peat has a great smell ..... cooking burgers have a great smell ...... both together, not so much ! Whins are pretty spectacular here at the moment ...... sea of yellow up here (which probably doesn't say a lot for my land-management skills )  K

That looks very nice - should visit you area asap...
This weekend I`ll try to wake it up carefully as we are allowed to go out without a major reason by now.
Will leave these firts days for the donors on bikes.
Hopefully we can lower the travel restrictions till the beginning of june because even as an Austrian living 10km to the border on Bavarian side - there is no way to get in and out for longer than 48 hours at the moment.
All keep that Götzendorf mood in mind😊

The local farm shop got in supplies of flour. The boss heard it on the jungle telegraph so I volunteered. Less than a mile each way but boy did I grin.

The local farm shop got in supplies of flour. The boss heard it on the jungle telegraph so I volunteered. Less than a mile each way but boy did I grin. Shame on you - you could have walked that

It is outside the village with no footpaths. I risk assessed it & decided to drive. Also I had to carry back 6 kgs of flour

Yes Peter. Grown near Wallingford in Oxon and stone milled in Winchester.
The shop is also part of a garden centre which stayed open as the shop was attached to it. Go figure.

As it’s VE Day I thought it was only right to take the Morgan on my weekly run to the butchers. It’s only 6 miles over the tops each way but boy did it put a big stupid grin on my face!
